-The case for Renee Ellmers, via Regular Right Guy:
Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) freaked out on Laura Ingraham this morning when the host waded into waters fathoms over the congresswoman’s head.
Rep. Renee Ellmers had been on Laura Ingraham’s nationally-syndicated radio program to talk about Obamacare and North Carolina politics Thursday, but when the conversation turned to immigration about five minutes into the interview, things got ugly.
Ellmers, under fire on amnesty from calm but insistent questioning from Ingraham, called her host “small minded,” “ignorant,” and claimed to be the author of a ubiquitious [sic] immigration talking point, adopting the third person to say “Renee Ellmers thinks for herself.”
-The case for Darrell Issa, via Paco:
Former IRS capo Lois Lerner was obviously neck-deep in political efforts to stifle conservative PACs during the last election cycle. House Oversight Committee chairman Daryl Issa is “weighing whether the committee should vote on holding Lerner in contempt of Congress for providing false or misleading information.”
When this committee does anything but issue bombastic denunciations and empty threats, I’ll be sure to take note. Let me know when the “weighing” is over, congressman.
VOTE NOW…
